The Mandalorian season one. It is an action -adventure, fantasy, sci-fi 8-episode series. It was released in 2019 and has since skyrocketed in popularity and this article will tell you if the show is as good as every tells it to be. Firstly, the Mandalorian consists of many great and memorable character such as Grogu, The Armorer, Kuill, IG-11, Moff Gideon and of course the Mandalorian (Din Djarin).

The Child (Grogu) –

In episode 1 the Mandalorian embarks on a mission to find his bounty. He travels to planet Arvala-7 in search for his bounty, and upon arrival, battles his way to the bounty along side IG-11 a hunter droid. They find Grogu and IG-11 attempts to kill the child, but the Mandalorian stops him, keeping the child alive. Even since this moment, every fan has fallen in love with Grogu and nicknamed him “baby Yoda”. He dresses in a brown (baby sized) robe and has his own chair that he sits in as it hovers around following The Mandalorian.

Din Djarin –

Din Djarin or The Mandalorian is a great character that objectively plays the biggest role in the series. To be a Mandalorian means you must follow certain clan rules, which consist of, wearing armour, protecting yourself and your family, raising and educating descendants and to learning one language. He wears armour made of a special material known a Baskar steel which is impenetrable to blasters and bullets. For the first few episodes he wields a gun capable of disintegrating many species. His armour also has many features for battle and protection.

Storyline (pace and quality)–

The Mandalorian follows a consistent storyline with great action and tense scenes. The storyline felt enjoyable and kept me on the edge of my seat. The Mandalorian has many great characters that play key roles in the storyline, and characters would not be killed off too quickly. In the first season, the Mandalorian was completing bounties and missions while still progressing the storyline, for example the Mandalorian travels to a space prison to rescue a prisoner. In conclusion the storyline is consistent and exciting.

Overall, the first season of the Mandalorian is a great watch for yourself or as a family. This television show is rated M for mature and will be enjoyable for nearly all people and ages. The music is also intense and fitting. I personally rate the Mandalorian a 9.4 / 10 as it is fast paced, contains memorable characters, and has a consistent plot. You can watch the Mandalorian on Disney+ given you have a paid account.
